Kilimanjaro is Africa’s greatest mountain, at approximately 16,000 feet high!
It is a spectacular trek, and is situated in the beautiful country of Tanzania. Climbing Kilimanjaro is an extremely popular trek, as it combines brilliant scenery and a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with an incredible and challenging feat.
This is a great opportunity and one you will not regret. The fundraising target for the trek is £3990. The money you raise could change lives in the developing world.
Just £50 pays for life-saving chemotherapy for a child in Ghana. Whilst £500 can cure a child with Burkitt lymphoma in Malawi. With your help we can make a huge difference to the lives of many in our projects.
World Child Cancer will be with you every step of the way to make this fundraising target another summit you have no trouble reaching! Averaging at around £350 a month, it is very achievable over the course of a year.
We will also help you to design your own fundraising plan, put you in touch with past successful fundraisers and provide all the support you need in order to raise this amount.
All you have to do is ask!
Did you know that over 300,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year?
In the developed world over 80% of those children will survive. In the developing world survival rates fall to as low as 10%.
In addition, many children with cancer will die without effective pain relief.
We are working hard to change that.
